Congratulations to Eleanor for her phenomenal performance representing Australia at her first World Virtus Games.
Eleanor showcased her determination and skill across a range of events, achieving remarkable results:
100m: 4th place, 14.77
200m: 4th place, 31.74
400m: 3rd place, 1:09.71
800m: 1st place, 2:37.51 (Personal Best and pending ratification as the Para U17 Australian Record)
1500m: 1st place, 5:34.44
Long Jump: 3rd place, 3.61m
Her incredible efforts in the 800m and 1500m were recognised as new Virtus World Records, an extraordinary accomplishment at this level of competition.
In the Youth competition, Eleanor’s consistent performances also earned her second place overall.
Eleanor’s dedication, hard work, and sportsmanship have made her school and community very proud. Representing Australia with such success is a remarkable achievement, and we can’t wait to see what she accomplishes next.
