Loreto College Ballarat officially commissioned and blessed Christine Shaw as its 32nd Principal during a special ceremony held on Friday 22 May.
At Loreto College Ballarat, leadership is guided by the values of Freedom, Justice, Verity, Sincerity and Felicity. These principles shape the way the community leads, learns and grows together. The College describes its approach to leadership as one that draws on the strengths and talents of all those around it and empowers individuals to be the best they can be.
Christine Shaw has long embodied these values throughout her time at Loreto College Ballarat. Her commissioning as Principal was warmly received by the community, who formally welcomed her into the role.
The College extended its thanks to the Loreto Sisters, Loreto College Board, Loreto Ministries, Bishop Mark Freeman, Fr Justin Driscoll, special guests, students and staff who attended and contributed to the celebration.
