Health Across the Lifespan: What Every Girl and Woman Should Know

This inaugural event hosted by Loreto College and facilitated by CoRE Alliance and Women’s Health Grampians, looks at women’s health across the lifespan and how families can support students in navigating areas of reproductive and gynaecological health, wellness and nutrition, support services, and the misinformation associated with women's health.

Presented by local expert female clinicians including:

  • Associate Professor Natasha Frawley, Clinical Director Women's and Children’s Services at Grampians Health
  • Dr Annie Tan, Obstetrician & Gynaecologist; and
  • Dr Siobhan Langford, Senior Registrar completing specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology

The session will cover:

  • Pain as a woman
  • Abnormal bleeding for both young and older females
  • Puberty
  • Menopause
  • Nutrition through the lifespan and optimal health
  • Advocacy in healthcare
  • Communication and supports/services
  • Real life stories and live Q&A

The presentation will run from 6:00pm - 7:30pm, followed by light refreshments.
