After five and a half years of dedicated service to Loreto College Ballarat, we farewell our outgoing Principal, Ms Michelle Brodrick, as she concludes her time with us. Beginning her tenure in the midst of COVID was far from ordinary, yet Michelle guided our community through uncertainty with strength, integrity and grace.
Throughout her time at Loreto, Michelle has made a considerable and lasting impact on the College. She has led us through growth and change with a commitment to justice and inclusion, and she has shown remarkable resilience during challenging times.
Last week, as students finished their school year, our Year 11s formed a guard of honour to mark Michelle’s final address to the school community. Today, as our teaching staff conclude their year, they too came together to acknowledge and celebrate the influence Michelle has had on our College.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Ms Brodrick for her dedication and calm leadership throughout her time at Loreto. She will be greatly missed, but we know there are plenty of exciting adventures ahead.
